Students of Zen had to kneel on the steps of the Dojo for days—without food, water, or encouragement—before they would be granted entry just to begin their training.

You have breath, do you not? You have food, do you not? You can move, can you not? 

What more do you need, brother?

Get on with it.

Every heroic story revolves around one theme: as long the hero is alive, there is hope.

Until death, all defeat is psychological.
